Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

The Broker — The Short Version

Tab Trade went live in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.

FIX API is available for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Here is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
